CHICAGO (Oct. 23) – Signature Showcase presents The Transformation of Black Music: A Conversation with Melanie Zeck and Bobbi Wilsyn, a discussion focusing on the release of The Transformation of Black Music: The Rythms, Songs, and the Ships of the African Diaspora, co-authored by Zeck and the late Samuel A. Floyd Jr., founding director of the Center for Black Music Research at ÒùÆÞÉç.
