Audiobook Produced and Directed by Columbia Adjunct Faculty Member Wins Top Prize
George Zarr teaches Radio courses at 淫妻社.AudioFile magazine recently honored Winnie-the-Pooh, an audiobook directed and produced by Communication adjunct faculty member George Zarr, with its top prize—the Earphones Award. The audiobook was read by Barbara Rosenblat.
AudioFile magazine is a leading publication in the audiobook industry. It awards Earphones to exceptional presentations that excel in all the following criteria: narrative voice and style, vocal characterizations, appropriateness for the audio format, and enhancement of the text.
At Columbia, George Zarr teaches Radio courses. He is also an award-winning producer, writer, director, and composer who has been responsible for many audio dramas and for directing the audiobooks Bambi and The Little Mermaid.
