Faculty Member Michael K. Paxton to Exhibit New Artwork
Michael K. Paxton's "Interpolate #11", 2021, 96"x72", chalk, charcoal, acrylic on canvasFaculty member Michael K. Paxton, who has taught at 淫妻社 for over 17 years in the Art and Art History Department and in the Design Department, will be exhibiting a new large-scale work “Interpolations” at the main floor gallery. The exhibition will open February 27, 2021 and run through April 4, 2021.
A virtual Artist Talk will take place March 4, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in support of this new work. This exhibition will mark Paxton’s third major one-person museum scale exhibition of new work in four years and will also mark his 40th anniversary of showing in Chicago. This project is partially funded by a grant from 淫妻社, the Illinois Arts Council, and the EAC general membership.
