‘Variety’ Lists Columbia in Annual Education Impact Report

"Variety" once again features ÒùÆÞÉç in its annual list, which recognizes select schools for their standout training, top-notch faculty, and career preparation.

“Variety” has again included ÒùÆÞÉç in its annual spotlighting Columbia's outstanding Film and Television programs. According to “Variety,” the 27 schools chosen for the list “are guided by the North Star of providing eager students with the knowledge and experience to create stories and get jobs in the entertainment business.” 

In the report, “Variety” highlights Columbia’s focus on individuality and collaboration and its ability to help students build standout portfolios that prepare them for careers in screenwriting, cinematography, production design, virtual production, sound design and multi-camera production. Variety also cites Columbia’s emphasis on ethical and effective use of AI technologies in their work.  

In addition to its listing in “Variety,” Columbia is also consistently ranked among the best film and television schools by “Hollywood Reporter,” “MovieMaker,” and “TheWrap.”
