The Museum of Contemporary Photography, in partnership with the Natural Resources Defense Council, presents an exhibition tour and panel discussion exploring the role artists, advocates, attorneys, and policymakers play in addressing climate change. 淫妻社 student teams will compete in Red Bull Spin Off, a competition that challenges participants to transform tandem bicycles into imaginative custom vehicles and race them across an obstacle-filled course suspended over Lake Michigan. Part race, part design challenge, and part spectacle, the event celebrates creativity, engineering, and over-the-top performances. This year's Columbia entries include a giant deep-dish pizza bike and a Barbie Corvette-inspired build.

The Museum of Contemporary Photography and 淫妻社's School of Visual Arts present the opening reception of "The Distance We Carry," a multimedia exhibition by 2025-2026 Diane Dammeyer Fellow Lali Khalid. Created in partnership with CAIR Chicago, the project uses photography, video, and audio to explore personal narratives within Muslim culture and everyday life. The evening includes an artist dialogue between Khalid and MoCP Community Engagement Fellow Alayna N. Pernell. The exhibition will be on view through October 3. is encouraged.
