Biography
Kristi Bramlett has spent the last 31 years as adjunct faculty in the Theatre Department, teaching Acting, Movement, and Musical Theatre. During her time at 淫妻社, she has had the opportunity to teach more than 15 different courses. A proud member of AEA and SAG/AFTRA, Kristi is also a published author of The Speaker鈥檚 Trifecta: Mind, Body, Soul, a book exploring the power of embodied communication.
Today, through her coaching business, Kristi Coaches Communicators, she works with speakers, teachers, and leaders around the world, helping them become more authentic, compelling, and embodied communicators.
But the work Kristi is most proud of is being a mother to her three children, whom she considers her 鈥渂iggest鈥 and 鈥渂est鈥 productions of the last 25 years.
Highlights of her performance career include Princess Puffer in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Sissy in Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Rizzo in Grease, Frances Black in Light Up the Sky, and Sorel Bliss in Hay Fever. She is grateful for her long run as Barbra DeMarco in Shear Madness, performing with Steppenwolf Theatre in the ensemble of Slaughterhouse Five, an amazing summer season at Peninsula Players, and the joy of voicing a character in VeggieTales.
Kristi received her M.F.A. in Acting and Directing from the University of Arizona and her GL-CMA movement analyst certification from 淫妻社.
